Raymond A. Zawatski, 55, of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, in South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.

He was born May 15, 1962, in Canonsburg, a son of Angelina Millikin Zawatski and the late Raymond Zawatski.

He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg.

Mr. Zawatski was a 1981 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, where he was a wrestler his senior year and undefeated in his wrestling matches.

He was employed for many years as a custodian for Upper St. Clair School District.

He enjoyed working on puzzles and word finds and was an enthusiastic fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Charles S. Zawatski of Oakland Park, Fla., and a sister, Lisa M. Zawatski of Donora.

Friends are welcome from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of blessing service, Friday, October 27, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
