Paul Robert Parker
Paul Robert Parker, 80, of Avella, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 28, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1937, in Cuddy, a son of the late Paul Pucker and Mary Semian Pucker.
Mr. Parker was raised Catholic.
He was a graduate of Canonsburg High School.
Mr. Parker worked for CDI Corp. in Pittsburgh for more than 20 years, retiring as a vice president. Prior to that, he worked as a piping designer.
He was a Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder and was a fan for many years. He was a sail plane pilot and loved soaring for many years. He was a founding member of Pittsburgh Soaring Club out of Connellsville. Mr. Parker loved visiting Western states and attended the Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoyed feeding deer and birds.
On November 12, 1960, he married Minna Elizabeth Marrow, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Braden Mikael (Sheila) Parker of Canonsburg and Timothy Robert Parker of Avella; a daughter, Stacey Lynn Patrick (Kevin) of Indiana; and two grandchildren, Braden Mikael Parker II and Kathryne Jayne Parker.
All services are private. A private burial was held in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
