James R. Davidson
Dr. James R. Davidson, 71, of Hopwood, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5, 2018, in his home.
He was born September 21, 1946, in San Jose, Calif., a son of the late Harold B. and Winifred Nordall Davidson.
James owned and operated Dr. Davidson Veterinary Clinic for 35 years, until his retirement.
He was an avid lover of animals, the outdoors and traveling. He could always be found either tending to his animals or out on an adventure.
He was a member of Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club.
James is survived by his wife, Kathleen Ayres Davidson; children John Davidson and wife Robin, Katie Sidor and husband Joe and Elizabeth Fidler and husband J.R.; and grandchildren Ian Davidson, Kolt Fidler, Zachary Sidor, Willow Fidler and Faith Sidor.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 8, with a service being held at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Jack Puskar officiating, in American Legion LaFayette Post 51, 508 East Main Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
Interment will be private.
