Lois J. Curdie

Lois J. Curdie, 91, formerly of Finleyville, died Friday, April 6, 2018, in Edinboro Manor.

She was born March 27, 1927, in Elrama, a daughter of John and Bertha Cain Armstrong.

Mrs. Curdie retired as an operator with Parker Plastics Corp., Castle Shannon.

She was a member of the former Union Roads United Methodist Church, Finleyville.

Surviving are two daughters, Robin Koskoski and husband Edward of Edinboro and Kebbie Staley and husband Kenneth Sr. of Heidelberg; four grandchildren, Kerry Gilbert (Greg), Erin Magorien (Joe) and Josh (Ashley) and Kenny (Stephanie) Staley; five great-grandchildren, Emily White (Cole) and Gavin, Preston, Nora and Joey Magorien; a great-great-grandson, Troy White; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, James Curdie, who died in January 2013, and five sisters, Sally Winkelvoss, Betty Evans and Sarah, Cecelia and Bertha Armstrong.

The staff at Edinboro Manor and Heartland Hospice provided great care and compassion.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of services, Monday, April 9, in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery, Union Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
