Paul Bodnar Jr.
Paul Bodnar Jr., 74, of Jamestown, formerly of Canonsburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2018.
He was born June 1, 1943, in Washington, a son of Paul and Mary Ellis Bodnar.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Paul was a member of several civic and social organizations. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson.
Surviving are a daughter, Becky (Mark) Barr of Pittsburgh, and two nephews, Timmathy (Jennifer) Bodnar of Mt. Lebanon and Alan Bodnar.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Bodnar, and two sisters, Janice Guest and Patricia Ann Bodnar.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000, where additional visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 12, followed by burial in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, with full military rites accorded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 Honor Guard.
