Ronald W. Stewart

Ronald W. Stewart, 50, of Claysville, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, due to a lifelong battle with cancer.

He was born May 9, 1967, a son of Wade and Louise Hott Stewart.

He was employed at Bank of America as a foreclosure specialist for 15 years.

Ron enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also liked camping and whitewater rafting.

He was a member of Claysville Christian Church and sang in the choir.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Shelly Hutson Stewart; son Grayson Stewart; brother Jay (Sherry) Hutson Stewart; his mother- and father-in-law, Joyce and William Hutson; nephew Dustin Hutson; and niece Santana Stewart (Bert Stainbrook).

Ron will be greatly missed by many additional close relatives, including Art (Linda) Nemeth, Cheryl Nemeth and Bonnie Durila; sister-in-law Kristen Kropiewnicki; and several additional aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

Family and friends will be received from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday in Claysville Christian Church, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, with the Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. A dinner gathering celebrating Ron’s life will immediately follow services in Claysville Fire Hall.
