Charles Rossell Jr.
Charles “Buzz” Rossell Jr., 80, of Millsboro, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Divine Healing Personal Care Home, Masontown.
He was born July 24, 1937, in Washington, a son of the late Charles and Mary Rice Rossell Sr.
Mr. Rossell attended East Bethlehem High School and was later employed with A.T. Masey Mine Corp., Clyde Mine in Fredericktown as a motorman, retiring in 1998 with 40 years of service. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America.
Buzz enjoyed yard work, gardening, taking care of his pool and being outdoors. He also liked Saturday night polkas and watching Western movies on Sundays. He was especially fond of his dog, Cocoa.
On September 21, 1990, he married L. Jeannie Rossell, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a stepdaughter, Kathy Cook (Eric) of Fredericktown; two sisters, Louise Conrad of Eighty Four and Catherine Lucky of Fredericktown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Fred Rossell.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
