Amanda Jo James
Amanda Jo James, 46, of Rices Landing, died Monday, April 23, 2018, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 29, 1971, in Waynesburg, a daughter of June Harn.
Amanda had worked and decided to go back to school to get her degree. She was currently attending California University of Pennsylvania and would have graduated next month.
She lived in several places before returning to Greene County, including Las Vegas, Nev., Ventura, Calif., Chula Vista, Calif., and Norfolk, Va.
Amanda was a member of Crosspoint Assembly of God Church, Carmichaels.
On June 21, 1995, she married Paul James, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Cody and Katelyn, and her mother and stepfather, James and June Harn Murphy of Rices Landing.
Deceased are her maternal grandparents, Arthur H. and Alice Fowkes Harn, and her paternal stepgrandmother, Nancy Murphy.
Friends were received Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing, with Pastor Joshua Koss officiating.
