Eleanor Hope Redman
Eleanor “Hope” Redman, 75, of Greensburg, formerly of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born March 1, 1943, in Clarksville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby Harris Sellers.
Her husband of 52 years, Joseph T. “Tom” Redman, passed away November 22, 2016.
Mrs. Redman was a homemaker. She also worked for a few years caring for the elderly as a certified nursing assistant.
She resided most of her life in Clarksville, where she was a member of Clarksville Missionary Church.
Hope enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, including trips to Hawaii and the Caribbean.
Surviving are a son, Robert A. Redman of Clarksville; a daughter, Cynthia R. Redman (Timothy Show) of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Renlee Show and Brian and Peter Lockette; two brothers, Thomas (Ruth) Sellers of Kittanning and Donald (Patty) Sellers of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, with the Rev. Chuck Tracy officiating. Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
