Opal V. Dittman Schotting
Opal V. Dittman Schotting, 91, of Lawrence, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was born February 5, 1927.
She was the beloved mother of five children, Judy (the late John) Rikoric of Lawrence, Wanda (the late Don) Rura of Lawrence, Wayne (Janice) Schotting of New Berm, N.C., Robin (Steven) Lelak of Lawrence and Ronna (Francis) Rosmon of Indian Trail, N.C. She was also loved by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Opal was an avid gardener who loved canning, cooking, baking and country music. Hospice workers spent countless hours to help take care of Opal.
