Therese Balazick Albert
Therese Balazick Albert, 90, of Waynesburg, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born Wednesday, March 14, 1928, in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Charles Balazick and Helen Gleba Balazick.
Mrs. Albert was a former member of St. George Episcopal Church in Waynesburg and, at the time of her death, was attending First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg.
For 26 years, she taught at Waynesburg Central High School, retiring in 2003.
On June 15, 1947, she married her husband, George J. Albert, who died December 11, 2003.
Surviving are a son-in-law, Joseph Melby of San Diego, Calif.; a grandson, Jason Albert Melby of San Diego; a sister, Lois Ireton of Bridgeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Eln Albert Melby; a son, Blair Albert; two sisters, Edith Bunting and Rose Iwanski; and a brother, Charles Balazick.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Private burial will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.
