Nancy Hamilton Taczak
Nancy Hamilton Taczak, 76, of Burgettstown, Cross Creek Township, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, in her home, following a brief illness.
She was born October 15, 1941, in Cherry Valley, a daughter of the late John and Rose Mihalic Hamilton.
A 1960 graduate of Union High School, Burgettstown, and a member of the former Hillcrest Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Taczak was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and watching her soap operas, but mostly enjoyed the time spent with her family and granddaughter.
Her husband, John Taczak, whom she married February 3, 1968, passed away September 20, 2009.
She is survived by her loving children, Marcy Robertson and husband J.J. of Canonsburg and Thomas Taczak of Burgettstown; her cherished granddaughter, Kiley Robertson; sister Janice Campbell and husband Bill of Hickory; brother Carl Hamilton and wife Mary Beth of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is brother Charles Hamilton.
To honor Mrs. Taczak’s wishes, services officiated by Pastor Gary Gibson and interment in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, were held privately.
