Barbara E. Pio
Barbara E. Pio, 69, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 25, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, in Cathedral Village Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Pio Wine family. Barbara is survived by numerous cousins and Aunt Rita Pio of Tamarac, Fla.
She was a member of the United Federation of Dolls Club, Town and Country, charter member of the World War II Museum, Edinboro University Alumni, Sons of Italy, Madame Alexander Doll Club, Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania, served many years on the board of directors of the William Jeanes Memorial Library, Lafayette Hill and a long time member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of a memorial service, Monday, December 10, in Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill.
Memorial donations may be directed to Keystone Hospice or William Jeanes Memorial Library, 4051 Joshua Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.
