Christy Dawn Harper
Christy Dawn Harper, 33, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a long illness.
She was born September 24, 1985, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Denzil E. Harper Sr. of Pittsburgh and Debra J. Butler Beckett of Carmichaels.
In addition to her parents, Christy is survived by her stepfather, Raymond L. Beckett of Carmichaels and her stepmother, Sharon Harper of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Elysabeth and Victoria Huseman at home; sister Tracy L. Franchek and husband Richard A. of Nemacolin; two brothers, Denzil E. Harper Jr. and wife Gina, and Joseph A. Harper and wife Jennifer of Carmichaels; four nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christy was a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School. She worked at Shop N’ Save supermarket in Masontown as a baker and cake decorator.
Christy enjoyed spending time with her beloved children and family.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary McFadden officiating.
Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
