Neva L. Harvilla
Neva L. Harvilla, 83, of Mather, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Waynesburg.
She was born April 7, 1935, in Carmichaels, a daughter of the late John L. and Mildred I. McCann McMinn.
Neva was a graduate of Cumberland Township High School.
She was a homemaker but previously worked at Lawson Milk Co. in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1959 to 1976, and at Carol Lee Shop, Waynesburg, from 1980 to 1983.
Neva was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bingo and most of all loved spending time with her family.
On January 23, 1954, she married Robert S. Harvilla Sr., who died August 16, 2017.
Surviving are two sons, Robert S. (Barb) Harvilla Jr. of Medina, Ohio, and Roger A. (Dee) Harvilla of Cape Coral, Fla., as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Neva was preceded in death by a son, Thomas J. Harvilla; four brothers, Gerald McMann, John R. McMinn, Tommy H. McMinn and Allan M. McMinn; and sister Delores E. Hudson.
The staff of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home provided excellent care.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of services, Saturday, December 8, in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
