Carl Eugene Cumberledge
Carl Eugene “Dean” Cumberledge, 66, of Brave, died Friday, December 7, 2018.
He was born March 14, 1952, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Tompy Cumberledge and Georgia Phillips Cumberledge.
Dean retired from Tennant Wilbert Vault Co. in 2015.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his time with his little buddy, Oaklley Tennant.
He was married to Virginia Grahek Cumberledge, who is deceased.
Surviving are his two daughters and their spouses, Jenny Flynn of Brave and Carrie Tennant and husband Chris of Daybrook; son-in-law Jimmie Flynn; six grandchildren, Carla McClure (Ryan), Emily Cumberledge, Jacklyn Flynn, Jamason Flynn, Shyann Tennant and Cameron Tennant; siblings Robert Cumberledge (Karen) of Eastlake, Ohio, Martha Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio, Ammon Cumberledge of Cleveland, Suffa Jane McGuire of Cleveland, Annette Tetter (Terry) of Trenton, Fla., and Louie Catherine Hinson of Clarksburg, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law Sara Cumberledge, Diane Cumberledge and Dinah Cumberledge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles “Ray” Cumberledge, Ira “Ed” Cumberledge, William “Bill” Cumberledge, James Cumberledge, Leota Lemasters and Gary Lee Cumberledge; brother-in-law Jack Rogers; and sister-in-law Dorothy Cumberledge.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va..
