She was a mother of three; grandmother of six; and great-grandmother of four. She was a wonderfully faithful, positive Christian person.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Neighborhood House Association. She played 500 in a card club most of her life and was an active member of the Young Women’s Christian Association, where she made lovely ceramics.

In 1977 and 1979, she overcame serious surgeries to live a long, loving and productive life. She enjoyed world travel with her husband Bill and special times with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Catherine “Kitty” Fischer, wife of the Rev. Dr. Roger Raymond Fischer of Washington, Elaine Kay and husband Bruce Fischer of Stoytown and Steven Wray and wife Patricia Trettel of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Roger Raymond (Marcia) Fischer II, Steven Gregory (Heather) Fischer, Catherine “Katy” (John) Fischer Herold, Heidi Ann Fischer, Joseph W.
