Wanda M. Morris, 87, of Washington, died peacefully Friday, December 28, 2018, in Strabane Woods, South Strabane Township.

She was born April 2, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late Peter and Violet Brubaker Horne.

Mrs. Morris was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a member of First Baptist Church, Washington. She was a homemaker and at one time, also worked part time at Lang’s and Net and Turf at the Washington Mall.

Mrs. Morris enjoyed traveling across the country, boating, cooking and baking. Most of all, she enjoyed the precious times she spent with her family. Her door was always open for family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer R. Morris, who died June 24, 2001.

She is survived by two sons, Dewey (Dr. Denise) Morris of Washington and Kenneth (Irene) Morris of Washington; a daughter, Debra (Mark) Tinnemeyer of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Dustin, Linsley, Desiree, Kelsey, Dalton and Dylan; and a great-grandchild, Dakota.

In addition to her parents and husband, deceased is a sister, Carol Colteryahn.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Funeral services and burial will be private.
