Henry G. Diley Jr.
Henry G. Diley Jr., 79, of Burgettstown, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born December 6, 1938, in Joffre, a son of the late Henry G. Sr. and Wanda Kuzior Diley.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Diley was employed by LTV Steel in Aliquippa.
He participated in a bowling league at Slovenian Club in Burgettstown and was a deputy constable for Cross Creek during the 1970s. He was a charter member of Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Diley enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, car races and doing jigsaw puzzles and word search.
On July 31, 1959, he married Ann Robbins, who survives.
Also surviving are children Patricia (Dennis) Knowlson of Washington, Beverly Thistlethwaite of Clarksville, Robert D. (Rita) Diley of Atlanta, Ga., and Lisa Hucik of Weirton, W.Va.; brothers Joe (Shirley) Diley of Columbiana, Ohio, and James Diley of Biloxi, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Jean Ann Diley; a son, Timothy Lee Diley, who died in infancy; sisters Virginia Haspel and Kathy Diley; and brothers Thomas and Donald Diley.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 8, with the Rev. Eileen Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
