Mary Lou Bishop DeVall Hrdlicka

Mary Lou Bishop DeVall Hrdlicka, 81, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away in her sleep Monday evening, February 5, 2018, in her home.

She was born December 14, 1936, in Kingwood, W.Va., the oldest daughter of the late Gordon and Lula Blosser Bishop.

She traveled extensively throughout her life. She resided for a time in France, Germany, South Korea, Oklahoma, Texas and, for the last 33 years, Morgantown. She loved Jesus, life, people and the many little dogs she nurtured over the years.

Surviving are three of her six brothers, Douglas, Russell and Melvin Bishop; six of her seven sisters, Linda King, Marty Moore, Elizabeth “Libby” Wiles, Beverly Croft, Lavonne Sylvester and Shelba Fullmer; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her former husband and caretaker, CW2 Robert Hrdlicka, USA Ret.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are three brothers, Dayton, Gordon Jr. and Tracy Bishop; a sister, Patty Zeigler; and her first husband, SFC Denzil DeVall.

A celebration of her life is planned for spring 2018. The date, time and location will be announced later. Inurnment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Kingwood.
