Wayne SinClair Chynoweth
Wayne SinClair Chynoweth, 81, of Paris, fell asleep in his Lord peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018, in his home, surrounded by loved ones.
Deceased are his parents, Harold and Edith Musser Chynoweth, and a sister, Beverly Newman.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Smoljanovich, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage; a brother, David Chynoweth of Bavington; three children, Mary Beth Chynoweth of Paris, Richard Chynoweth (Carolyn Billie) of Belleview, Fla., and Lisa Greenlief (David) of Chester, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Chynoweth was a 1956 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
He joined the U.S. Navy, where he served from 1956 to 1960.
Mr. Chynoweth was owner of Overlook Restaurant in Paris and Holiday Motor Homes in Weirton, W.Va. He was an employee of Weirton Steel Corp. for more than 30 years.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Boulevard, Steubenville, Ohio, where an Orthodox funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, with Father Nick Halkias officiating. Burial will follow in Serbian Cemetery.
