Robert Henry Zombeck Sr.
Robert “Bob” Henry Zombeck Sr., 66, of Oakdale, died Saturday, January 10, 2018, in Kane Regional Medical Center, Scott Township.
He was born January 11, 1952, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Henry and Gladys Daudet Zombeck.
Mr. Zombeck was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He was self-employed and worked in the construction field.
Surviving are a daughter, Anita Kinney of Southview; son Robert “Bob” H. Zombeck of Follansbee, W.Va.; two sisters, Martha McAdams and Gayle Devere, both of Oakdale; two grandchildren, Jacquelyne Buchanan and Colten Zombeck; and a great-grandchild, Eilidh Buchanan.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. Burial will take place at a time and place to be announced. Memorial contributions can be made to Nation Funeral Home Inc.
