Esther Jean Eddy
Esther Jean Eddy, 76, of Brave, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born September 29, 1941, in Pine Bank, a daughter of the late Milton Elzie and Guidi Fern Gump Wise.
Mrs. Eddy was a lifelong resident of Brave. She loved being a mother and grandmother.
Surviving are four children, Carolyn “Kitten” (Jeff) Hillberry of Brave, Judy E. (Albert) Rastoka of Waynesburg, Tom (Trish) Eddy of Waynesburg and Sean (Teresa) Eddy of Waynesburg; stepson Wade (Theresa) Eddy of Brave; 14 grandchildren, Leigh Ann Stephenson, Danyel Braun, Travis Rastoka, Shawna Eddy, Courtney Welsh, Codie Rastoka, Richard Eddy, Dylan Eddy, Kendal Eddy, Austin Eddy, Dawn Henderson, Anna Eddy, Michael Eddy and Bradon Eddy; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rosemary Eddy.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are three brothers, Charles, Raymond and Gay Wise, and two sisters, Coral Leah King and Gayle Wise.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC, 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, PA 15359, 724-499-5181, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, with Pastor John Dorean officiating. Burial will follow in Blacksville Cemetery, Brave.
