Joseph Najowicz, 73, of Finleyville, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Elaine Najowicz; loving father of Anthony (Patty) Najowicz, Stephanie (Tim) Ewing and Shawn (Lisa) Najowicz; proud grandfather of Dakota Myers, Emily (Charles Proper) Najowicz and Chase Ewing; and great-grandfather of Ava and Arik Proper. Also surviving are his extended family, friends and shipmates.

Mr. Najowicz was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He served in the Vietnam War, then entered the U.S. Navy Reserve after the war and finished his career with the Navy as a recruiter, retiring after 30 years of service.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 25, in Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park. Interment will be private.
