Roselin Green
Roselin Green, 83, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 7, 2018, in her home.
She was born April 26, 1934, in Canonsburg, to Leonard and Jennie Betonte Spalla, who preceded her in death.
On November 11, 1956, she married Charles E. “Punky” Green, who passed away May 22, 2009.
She was a faithful member of Central Assembly of God in Houston for many years. She had many interests including crocheting, sewing, music, dancing and baking. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children: a son, David C. Green (Elsie) of Ft. Mill, S.C, and two daughters, Kelly Green of Florida and Joanna Vozel (Dewey) of Canonsburg; brother Gerald L. Spalla (Ruth) of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Britteny M. Brownlee (Kevin), Elise N. Green, Evan R. Vozel and Charlie S. Vozel; great-grandson Austin Charles Brownlee; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jo Pape and two sons who died in infancy.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. At the request of the family, all funeral services and interment in Oak Spring Cemetery will be private.
