Edna F. Simpson
Edna F. Simpson, 90, of Kings Run, W.Va., near Blacksville, W.Va., died Sunday, January 7, 2018, in the Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born August 21, 1927, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late David E. Brock and Rosa Husk Brock.
Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker and she was associated with the Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons and their spouses, Gary and Jeannie Simpson of Daybrook, W.Va., Donnie and Sharon Simpson of Kings Run, Robert and Donna Simpson of Spraggs and David and Patty Simpson of Kings Run; three daughters, Bonnie Simpson of Daybrook, Donna Ann Tomasko and Mike Hutzel of Reedsville, W.Va., and Barbara and Robert Patterson of Morgantown; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was expecting two more great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Simpson; a grandson, Robbie Simpson; a son-in-law, John Simpson; and several half-brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, with the Rev. Freddie Eddy II officiating. Interment will follow in Blacksville Cemetery.
