Isabelle Boyce

Isabelle Boyce, 90, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born October 26, 1927, in White Oak, a daughter of the late Addison Sr. and Myra Paul Acie.

Mrs. Boyce, who lived in Canonsburg since 1958, was a homemaker and member of Jehovah’s Witness Canonsburg Congregation.

She loved music and was a jazz enthusiast. She enjoyed tending her house plants and gardening. Mrs. Boyce was an avid collector of many things, especially oil lamps.

On April 5, 1947, she married Ralph Ernest Boyce, who passed away April 15, 1999.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her three children, Juana Lee Sanford of Midland, Ernest Edward Boyce and wife Carol Ann of South Field, Mich., and Eric Duncan Boyce of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Sean C. and Damon K Sanford, Dirk Boyce, April M. (Oscar Jr.) Cobb and Aaron J. (Pamela) Sanford; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are four brothers, Addison Jr., Paul Eugene, Ralph and Eugene Acie, and two sisters, Mary France Dorsey and Madeline Jenkins.

Mrs. Boyce was the last of her immediate family.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or interment. Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
