Carol Ann Marshall, 75, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in her home.

She was born October 29, 1942, in Wintersville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Howard and Ann Bengier Thomas.

A graduate of Wintersville High School, she retired after 25 years from Panhandle Food Distributors, Slovan.

Mrs. Marshall enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, playing computer games and bingo.

Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Kenneth H. Marshall; six children, Richard E. Skiles and wife Enedelia of New Cumberland, W.Va., Sherri M. Tomblin and husband Ossie of Weirton, W.Va., Ray C. Skiles of Rapid City, S.D., Valerie A. Kaplun and husband Randy of Weirton, Robert W. Skiles and wife Elaine of the Philippines and Ronald E. Skiles of Weirton; three stepchildren, Chris Marshall of Burgettstown, Kathy Coffman and husband James of Canonsburg and Steven Marshall of Burgettstown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Thomas and wife Kathy of Arizona and Bill Thomas of Follansbee, W.Va.; a sister, Patty Murray and husband John of Arizona; two stepsisters, Linda Vandeborne and husband Henry and Cynthia Jordan, and a stepbrother, Allen Hammer, all of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her stepmother, Dorothy Rodgers Thomas; and a nephew, William Eric Thomas.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 20, in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Inurnment will be held in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio, at a later date.
