Debra Carosone
Debra Carosone, 63, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 16, 2018, after a brief illness, in Concordia Hospice of Washington, Donnell House, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 21, 1954, in Parkersburg, Va. to Benjamin and Lorraine Donahue Tomassetti, who preceded her in death.
On August 17, 1974, she married Deli “Butch” Carosone, who survives.
She was a homemaker. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and made it a point to always attend their baseball and hockey games. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and teaching painting skills to others. She attended a wide variety of seminars and lectures to improve her craft and then shared her knowledge and skills with others who shared the same passion. She was a member of Golden Triangle Painters Club.
Above all, she was very family oriented and was close to her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Scott G. “Bucky” Carosone and Brad A. Carosone (Nikki), both of Canonsburg; her brother, Jerome “Jerry” Tomassetti (Rosanna) of Boynton Beach, Fla.; her sister, Sandy M. Grudevich (Edward) of North Strabane Township; two grandchildren Adam Carosone and Brett Carosone; her nieces and nephews, Doug and Christie Kotar, Sarah Grudevich, Maria Harlan, Serena Perdeu, Marco Tomassetti; and five great-nieces and nephews.
