Angeline Simonelli Kendo, 92, of McMurray, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Monday, January 22, 2018, in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born October 23, 1925, in Republic, a daughter of the late Angelo and Theresa Manduzio.

On May 23, 1987, she married Robert Kendo, who passed away June 10, 2015.

Mrs. Kendo enjoyed listening to polka music, cooking and baking for her family and spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, JoAnn Stevenson (Charles) of Canton, Ohio; a son, Joseph Simonelli Jr. of Burgettstown; a sister, Tina Levi of Eighty Four; four grandchildren, Tracy Windsheimer (William) of Canonsburg, Joseph Simonelli III (Kristen) of Avella, Chad Simonelli of Washington and James Chicarella of Canonsburg; eight great-grandchildren, David Higgins III, Tony Higgins, Kyle Appleby, Zacharay Simonelli, Gage and Romen Simonelli and Hannah and Brittany Windsheimer; a great-granddaughter, Remington Higgins; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are four sisters, Theresa Patrick, Lucille Szili, Rose Dever and Antoinette Lombardi; a brother, James Manduzio; and her ex-husband, Joseph Simonelli Sr., who passed away January 30, 1989.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 26. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
