David H. Boles

David H. Boles, 74, of East Millsboro, formerly of Washington, died Sunday, January 28, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

He was born January 18, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Holland T. and Lorraine Ehrenberger Boles.

Mr. Boles was a 1962 graduate of North Allegheny High School. He attended California State College.

He was a member of Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, where he formerly served as trustee and treasurer.

Mr. Boles was a supervisor at AT&T at the time of his retirement in 1999.

He enjoyed golf and following the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

On November 22, 1969, in Washington, he married Sandra M. Paul, who died February 8, 2009.

Surviving are a son, David P. (Tracy) Boles of Falls Church, Va.; a daughter, Buffy (Timothy) Craig of Avella; two brothers, Gary R. (Jan) Boles of Toledo, Ohio, and Thomas R. (Beth) Boles of Washington; five grandchildren, Chelsea and Matthew Craig, Ryan and Holland Boles and Blake Porter; his girlfriend, Belinda Porter; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 1, with the Rev. Donald Austin officiating. All other services will be private.
