John S. Headley
John S. Headley, 59, of West Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
He was born September 5, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late Lawrence Ray and Helen Hughes Headley.
Mr. Headley was a 1978 graduate of Avella.
He was employed by Alex E. Paris Contracting Co. Inc. for the past 15 years.
Mr. Headley was a former member of West Middletown Christian Church and delivered newspapers in West Middletown for over 30 years.
He had a keen interest in politics and enjoyed watching movies. He loved spending time with his family, especially his three nieces.
Mr. Headley was a lifelong resident of West Middletown.
Surviving are a brother, James “Doc” (Audrey) Headley of Avella; a sister, Mary (Robert) Goller of McMurray; and three nieces, Carly, Rachel and Lindsay Goller.
Friends and family will be received from noon until 1 p.m., the time of the service, Saturday, July 7, in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, with Pastor Steve Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in West Middletown Cemetery.
