Lowell Wayne Whitlow Jr.

Lowell Wayne Whitlow Jr., 55, of Vestaburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 30, 2018, in Bedford County, doing what he enjoyed most, riding his dirt bike.

He was born September 19, 1962, a son of Barbara Whitlow and the late Lowell Whitlow Sr.

Mr. Whitlow was employed as a window glazier by Specified Systems in Washington. He attended Bethlehem-Center schools and graduated with the Class of 1981.

Lowell was Catholic.

He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Helping others and spending time with his family were very special to him. Lowell was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed and long remembered by family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Lowell W. Whitlow III (Amanda Mackall) of Beaver County; daughters Dannika Whitlow (P.J. Lanzi) of Brownsville and Bryanna Whitlow (Charles Bowser) of Fredericktown; grandchildren Ellyonna Lanzi and Cayson Bowser; sister Margaret Toth (Chris) of Clarksville; and Lowell’s fiancée, Debra Hughes of Vestaburg.

Also surviving is former wife, Desiree Whitlow.

In addition to his father, deceased is his brother, John Whitlow.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro, PA 15348, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, with Father Francis Frazer officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
