Eugene F. Leach Jr.

Eugene F. Leach Jr., 82, of Finleyville, died unexpectedly Monday, July 9, 2018, in his home.
He was born July 27, 1935, in Courtney, a son of the late Eugene F. Leach Sr. and Elizabeth Ostifin Leach.
Eugene was a graduate of Monongahela High School and retired in 1993 as a welder with more than 37 years of service with Equitable Gas Co.

Eugene was humble and kind to all who knew him and the finest husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and neighbor.
On June 11, 1955, he married the love of his life, Bertha Mae Garry, who survives. They were married 63 years this past June.
Also surviving are a son, Eugene Garry (Sherrie) Leach of Washington; daughter Karen (James R.) Donovan of Monongahela; three grandchildren, James Patrick Donovan, Kelly Erin Donovan and Michael Taylor Leach; two sisters-in-law, Edna Pearl Russell and Stella Garry; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
