Wayne L. Fine
Wayne L. Fine, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Eighty Four, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following a brief illness.
He was born October 13, 1942, in Washington, a son of the late Harvey and Loretta Wergin Fine.
Mr. Fine graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army National Guard.
He operated a plumbing business with his brother for several years before becoming a plumbing inspector for Pennsylvania for over 20 years, until his retirement.
Mr. Fine was a life member of National Rifle Association. He enjoyed doing genealogy, was a Civil War enthusiast and enjoyed all history, in general. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and all-around outdoorsman. Mr. Fine also enjoyed target shooting and camping. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the time he spent with his grandchildren.
On February 21, 1966, he married Mae Shrum, who died April 25, 2011.
Surviving are two sons, Bret Fine of Washington and Todd (Lori) Fine of Bridgeville; four grandchildren, Zachary and Ethan Fine of Washington and Maddie and Nathan Fine of Bridgeville; a sister-in-law, Nancy T. Fine of Eighty Four; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, mother and wife, deceased is a brother, Ernest L. Fine.
