CarMelitta DeSaun Davis
CarMelitta DeSaun Davis, 37, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 1, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colo., surrounded by her mother, brother and niece.
She was born November 6, 1980, to Carol Davis Jones and the late Richard J. Jones.
She was a 1999 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.
Two years ago, she relocated to Colorado to be close to her brother, James.
CarMelitta truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She loved being around her entire family and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bentleyville.
Surviving are her mother, Carol Davis Jones; two sisters, Michele Davis of Canonsburg and Jennifer Jones of Pittsburgh; a brother, James Davis of Colorado Springs; a niece; two nephews; a great-niece; four great-nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Jones, and most recently her brother, John Davis.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, July 14, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301, with the Rev. Layman Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
