Albert W. Partozoti

Albert W. Partozoti, 92, of McDonald, Mount Pleasant Township, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Concordia Hospice of Washington.

He was born June 5, 1926, in Cherry Valley, a son of the late Albert and Mary Konia Partozoti.

Mr. Partozoti was a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 66 and was a member of McDonald Methodist Church. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving under President Eisenhower in his personal guard unit. He enjoyed gardening and watching baseball and football games.

Surviving are his children, Gary (Patricia) Partozoti of Espyville, Ramona (Barry) Galbraith of McDonald, Robert Fye of Waterford and Kenneth (Deborah) Fye of North Carolina; sisters Cecilia Fedinetz of Primrose, Evelyn Bish of McDonald; and brother Carl Partozoti of Finleyville. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren and his long-time friend, Helen Smith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel “Sis” Gardner Partozoti; sister Gloria Mattallino; and brothers Alden and James Partozoti.

Friends will be received 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, in McDonald Methodist Church, 232 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McDonald Methodist Church.
