Christina Marie Knestrick
Christina Marie Knestrick, 60, of Nemacolin, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in her home after an eight-month struggle with cancer.
Christina was born April 28, 1958, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Ralph “J.R.” and Rose Marie Ross Visnesky.
On October 29, 1976, Christina married Harvey J. Knestrick, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Leichter (Doug) of Carmichaels and Amber Snyder (Timothy) of Scottdale; six grandchildren, Katelyn Leichter, Andy Leichter, Abby Snyder, Emily Snyder, Lucas Leichter and Lilly Snyder; and sister Angela Visnesky (Dan McNeil) of Nemacolin.
Christina was treasurer of Nemacolin Inc., and she worked at Masontown Trophy Shop for several years and served a term as Cumberland Township tax collector.
She was an active member of Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department and a fan of the New England Patriots.
She loved her little dog, Brady.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, 724-966-5100. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. in funeral home chapel with the Rev. John M. Bauer officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
