Rose Sestili

Rose Sestili, 97, formerly of Cokeburg, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Victoria Manor, Oakdale.

She was born November 27, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of Anthony and Mary Stallavato Faiella.

Rose was retired from the Washington County Office of Prothonotary.

She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville Campus, Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354, Cokeburg, Italian Sons and Daughters of America and a lifetime member of the Democratic Women’s Club.

Rose is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Debra Sestili of Carnegie; daughter-in-law Joan Sestili of Donora; three grandchildren, Robert (Sonya) Sestili, Angelo (Jessica) Sestili and Brandon Sestili; three great-grandchildren, Antonio, Matija and Enzo; stepgreat-grandchild, Asher; and a sister, Virginia Earliwine of Boston, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sestili Sr.; son, James Sestili; three brothers, James, Abe and Anthony Faiella; and four sisters, Louise Zernecki, Patty Gilmore, Jean Seneca and Angelina Faiella.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc., 405 Main Street, Bentleyville, where final prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville Campus, 126 Church Street, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. Interment will follow in Monongahela Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
