Robert Keith Hillberry

Robert Keith Hillberry, 72, of West Finley, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, in Transitions Healthcare, South Strabane Township.
He was born February 20, 1946, in Washington, a son of the late Grant Wilson and Della Irene Ritcher Hillberry.
Robert was a 1964 graduate of Cameron High School.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coon hunting and being outdoors with family and friends. He was a resident of Greene County since 1964.
Robert was a dryer operator for Weyerhauser Co. in Jefferson for more than 15 years. He was previously employed with U.S. Steelworkers Local 14744 AFL-C10, McMaster Construction in McMurray, where he worked for several years, and Big Country Ranch in West Finley.
Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received medals for sharpshooting and two Overseas Service Bars.
Surviving are his companion of 40 years, Diana Ankrom; two sons, Ryan Keith (Jill) Hillberry of Wheeling, W.Va., and Jeffrey (Chanda) Paczewski of Lewisville, Ohio; a daughter, Julie (John) Blanchard of Maidsville, W.Va.; three granddaughters, Brennan, Darby and Sadie Hillberry; a brother, Grant Hillberry of Washington; and two sisters, Dale Rhome of Wind Ridge and Carolyn (Pete) Gray of Sand Hill, W.Va.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Paul and Arthur Hillberry, and four sisters, Mabel Gray, Dorcas Domain, Freda Daugherty and Mary Lou Lilley.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC, 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, PA 15359, 724-499-5181, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 10, with Pastor Jim Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the U.S. Army and Greene County Honor Guard.
