Wray Edward Clark
Wray Edward “Doc” Clark, 73, of Washington, died Thursday, June 7, 2018.
He was born August 10, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Flora and Earl Clark.
He graduated from Trinity High School and served as a sergeant engineer in the U.S. Army. After serving in the military, he became employed as a coal miner for United Mine Workers of America.
A member of Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department, he was also a paramedic for Ambulance and Chair.
He loved to fish, hunt and donate his time to helping others.
On September 23, 1964, he married Joyce Bromley, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage, before her passing in 2012.
Surviving are a son, Wray Clark of Lone Pine; granddaughter Heather Marie Cummins; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his wife, Joyce Bromley Clark, and his parents, are two brothers, Earl Clark Jr. and John William Clark.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, with the Rev. Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will follow in Amity Presbyterian Cemetery.
