Donald F. Turosik
Donald F. Turosik, 83, of Coal Center, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018.
He was born June 17, 1934, a son of Rudolph Sr. and Helen Banick Turosik.
A 1952 graduate of Brownsville High School, he served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, and remained in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1963.
In 1996, he retired after more than 35 years from Fox Grocery (SuperValu) as a driver.
Donald spent much of his life volunteering with various organizations.
Left to cherish his memory are Madeline Kimball; his grandson, Frank (Ashley) Turosik; his granddaughter, Lauren Turosik; and the new joy of his life, his great-grandson, Theodore Donald Turosik. Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy (Joe) Aspiron and Merilyn Domenico, both of the state of California, and a brother, Robert Turosik of West Brownsville. He will also be missed by his Thursday morning golf/breakfast friends and his daughter-in-law, Diane Greenlief.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his son, Donald F. Turosik Jr., who died in 2007, and a brother, Rudolph J. Turosik.
Private interment was held in Howe Cemetery, Coal Center, with the Rev. Candace Cook officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767.
