Rosalie Ann Pust Manges

Rosalie Ann Pust Manges, 80, of Monongahela, died Saturday, June 9, 2018, in Hallsworth House, Monessen.

She was born May 26, 1938, in Ginger Hill, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Kennedy Pust.

Rosalie’s first job was delivering newspapers to the residents of Ginger Hill. She was a 1957 graduate of Monongahela High School.

She retired with 25 years of employment as a custodian for Ringgold School District, working at Ginger Hill School, Monongahela Elementary Center and lastly at Carroll Middle School.

She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Monongahela.

Rosalie loved camping at Big Bear Lake and vacationing in Ocean East and Myrtle Beach, S.C. She also enjoyed playing bingo and word finds.

Surviving are her son, James M. Manges and wife Donna of Monongahela; grandson James M. Manges II and wife Ashley; granddaughter Joslynne K. McDonough and husband Jeremy; and three great-grandchildren, Donovan and Makai McDonough and Gabriella Manges.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, John E. Manges, who died March 26, 2013, and two brothers, Frank and James Pust.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Monongahela, with the Rev. William Terza, pastor, as celebrant. Committal services and entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
