Carrie A. Ammons

Carrie A. Ammons, 42, of Washington, died suddenly due to an unforeseen medical condition Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
She was born April 13, 1976, in Washington, a daughter of Tony (Elaine) Daviduk of Butler and Joy Barlow Daviduk of Washington.
A 1994 graduate of McGuffey High School, Carrie also attended Duquesne University and Washington & Jefferson College.
Mrs. Ammons worked at Geo-Mechanics Inc. in Elizabeth as bookkeeper and human resources manager.
Carrie loved her family and enjoyed being around people. One of her greatest joys in life was watching her sons play in the band and play baseball. She loved the beach and relaxing on the deck by the pool.
On August 30, 2008, Carrie married Jeff Ammons, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Christian Daviduk and Cayden Ammons, both at home; four siblings, Traci (Gary) Kirby of Meadow Lands, Jessica (Joel) Hunter of Wellsburg, W.Va., and Anthony Daviduk and Paige Daviduk, both of Butler; her paternal grandmother, Opal Daviduk of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her paternal grandfather, Robert Daviduk, and maternal grandparents Richard and Shirley Barlow.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, with the Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
Carrie was a breast cancer survivor and participated in several Relays For Life.
