Vyiona Irene Gallo Wilk

Vyiona Irene Wilk, 73, of Washington, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018, in Concordia Hospice’s Donnell House, Washington.
She was born May 27, 1945, in Avella, a daughter of the late John William and Martha Campbell Gallo.
Mrs. Wilk enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, playing on her tablet and playing with her dogs, Trixie Rose and Bella. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Jane (Earl) Brown of Washington, and two sons, William Joseph Wilk and James Walter Wilk, both of Washington.
Also surviving are a sister, Alma (Keith) Jackson of Amity; two brothers, George (Kay) Gallo of Fredericktown and Robert Gallo of Irving Hills, Mich.; five grandchildren, Robert Harps, Timothy and Charles Tarr, and William and Alasha Wilk; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Richard Babirad; and three sisters-in-law, Dianne Gallo, Carol Gallo and Peggy Gallo.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Wilk; seven brothers, Charles, Tommy, Terry, Alvin, Elsworth, Chauncey and Frank Gallo; two sisters, Evelyn Harps and Joyce Babirad; two nephews; and two nieces.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, June 20, in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
