Mike Noble Sr.

Mike Noble Sr., 54, of Claysville, passed away peacefully following a brief illness with liver cancer, Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 18, 1963, in Washington, a son of the late Boyd and Alice Estel Noble.
Mike attended Washington High School and Penn State paramedic training.
He previously owned personal care homes in the Washington area and later in Westmoreland County, including Noble Personal Care Home in Mt. Pleasant. He was a volunteer for Norvelt EMS service in Westmoreland County, where he proudly served as chief and assistant chief, as well as an instructor for CPR and first aid classes. He ran the first aid station at Westmoreland County Fair for 12 years. He was a mentor to many within the community. He was also a paramedic for Medic 930, based at Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
Mike accomplished all the tasks he started on the Miller family farm and was able to see them finished. Mike made an unforgettable impact on everyone he met.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, his Boxer, “Ava,” and his other pets.
On April 15, 1983, he married Debbi Ann Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Taylore) Noble Jr. of Claysville; a daughter, Melissa (John) Coffey of Herminie; a sister, Judi (Michael) Mance of Cokeburg; a brother, Charles Noble of Needles, Calif.; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ella, Lily, Jameson and Brylee; a sister-in-law, Amy Miller; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many loved friends, neighbors and coworkers.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Clyde Noble; and his father-in-law, Raymond “Pap” Miller Sr., with whom he had a very special relationship and who showed him the ins and outs of the Miller family farm.
Dr. Kapoor and staff, Dr. Sara White of Claysville Family Practice and the Caring Mission nurses, Evelyn and Sherri, provided great care.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, with the Rev. John Tirpak officiating. Mike will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life August 18 at the family farm.
