Donald W. Welsbacher
Donald W. Welsbacher, 88, of Eighty Four, Nottingham Township, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, in TownView Health Center, Canonsburg.
He was born January 29, 1930, in Pittsburgh, a son of Anthony and Eleanor Desoi Welsbacher.
Mr. Welsbacher was retired as an electrician with the former LTV Steel Corp. in Pittsburgh.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church in McMurray and American Legion Post 613 in Finleyville.
Surviving are a son, Scott Welsbacher and wife Pam of Eighty Four; two brothers, Lawrence Welsbacher of Eighty Four and Norbert Welsbacher of Carrick; a sister, Jean Karwowski of Pleasant Hills; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his wife, Dolores “Dee” Welsbacher, who died in April 2011; three brothers; and a sister.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of blessing service, Thursday, June 28, in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Private interment will be held in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
