Arthur Torboli Jr.

Arthur “Artie” “Boo-Boo” Torboli Jr., 57, of Avella, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 25, 2018.
He was born April 8, 1961, in Washington Hospital, a son of Betty Barnhart-Kolesar Torboli of Avella and the late Arthur T. Torboli Sr.
Mr. Torboli was a 1979 graduate of Avella High School. He was employed by Tomsic Motor Co. as a service manager for more than 30 years, and for the past eight years, he worked for Alex E. Paris Contracting Co. Inc.
Artie was a member of Polar Star Mutual Benefit Society and a former member of SNPJ Lodge 292, both of Avella.
He enjoyed camping and boating at Tappan Lake, gardening and spending time with his family and his three dogs, Peewee, Odie and Salt.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a daughter, Courtney Ann Torboli of Avella; four sisters, Patience (Ted) Stubenbordt of Claysville, Frances (Skip) Skariot of Avella, Cris (Jim) Fidazzo of Wellsburg, W.Va., and Bettylou (Walt) Palmer of Wellsburg; brother Danny (Carol) Torboli of Avella; his girlfriend, Velvet Elkins of Wheeling, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, with Pastor Frances Skariot officiating. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, Avella.
