Judith “Judy” Arlene Liggitt, 71, of Houston, formerly of Hickory, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

She was born June 7, 1947, a daughter of the late Marjorie Melone Liggitt Smagner and Robert William Liggitt.

She attended Houston United Presbyterian Church and was active in Chartiers-Houston Senior Citizens. Judy enjoyed reading, and her success at bingo was the envy of many.

Surviving are a stepsister, Patricia Smagner Scott of Taylorstown; aunts, cousins and many friends at Heritage House apartments and elsewhere.

In addition to her parents, deceased are her stepfather, Mike Smagner.

Judy truly touched the lives of many with her kindness, encouragement and optimism.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in Heritage House, 140 West Pike Street, Houston.
