Helen Louise Wood Clark
Helen Louise Wood Clark, 84, formerly of Holbrook, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waynesburg.
Born April 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late James Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Wise Wood.
She graduated from Waynesburg High School, Class of 1951. She has been a resident of Waynesburg since 1957.
On June 12, 1954, she married Wayne Clark. They were happily married for 63 years.
Mrs. Clark worked as a legal secretary for Thomas & Baily attorneys office for 26 years until she retired in 1997.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Waynesburg. She was a former employee for Smith-Marion-Balaban attorneys for five years and J. Wood Williamson for 15 years.
Mrs. Clark loved raising cats. She enjoyed sending out cards to family and friends for all occasions. She also enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter, Hayden.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Joseph W. (Julie) Clark of Beaver Falls and Barbara Clark Clemens of Waynesburg; a sister, Martha Jean (Donald) Tedrow; a grandchild, Rachael Clemens; and a great-grandchild, Hayden Rizor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, two siblings, James Clifford Wood and Patricia Joanne Wood, both in infancy.
